Our New President’s Thoughts
On June 25th, it was official. Out with Jonathan and
in with Michael. “Out with the old and in with the
new.” Below are words of wisdom from your new Prez…
As your new President, I would like to first thank
Jonathan Johnson for a great year. I would also like
to thank Brian Shepherd and all who had a part in the
Banquet. It was great!
In my speech on Wednesday, I mentioned one word that
would make this club the biggest and best club in the
nation, and that word is teamwork. Together everyone
achieves more. If we all work together and invite
someone, work the golf tournament, sell a table and
sponsorship for the Gala, and do it together, we would
achieve more.
I am looking forward to working with the Board. It is
going to be a great year. We have 2 positions left on
the Board. They are Americanism & Publicity. If you
are interested please give me a call. And again, I am
looking forward to a great year. Lets have fun!
Please take time to meet your board and give your
voice to thoughts on our club. We can only make it
better if our members voice their opinions.

Thanks for All You Have Done!
Please join me in saying “Thank You” to our Past
President, Brian Shepherd. Brian will be leaving our
Board this year but will always be ready to serve when
asked. Thanks for everything you have done for our club.
We also lost Linda Lupro, who was given a career
opportunity and Shirley Piacquadio, who left to help her
Aunt in Florida. They will be missed greatly.
Last but never least, we want to thank Bill Peace, Kaye
Schaum and Jeff Tokar for serving out their commitment
to our board. Thank you for going the extra mile for the
club.

“NEW BOARD MEMBERS”
We are still looking for two Exchange Members to step
forward to join as new board members to the 2003-2004
Board to replace Linda Lupro and Shirley McGuire’s
vacated positions.
Director of Americanism AND Director of Public Relations
If you have not gotten involved, please step forward to
make a difference in your club!
