Welcome to our Web site!

“One Nation Under God”

November 20th - Justice Kerry Fitzgerald, 5th District Court of Appeals, will be our featured speaker at the “One Nation Under God” luncheon. It will be a very inspiring time for good fellowship with your club members. It will also be a great time to hear him speak on the importance and value of God, country and freedom during such an appropriate time and setting. Please plan to attend and bring your spouse, friend or business acquaintance. If you plan to attend and/or bring a friend, please contact either Michael Gothard, Jeff Muessig or Shirley McGuire to make reservations. We hope all of our members can arrange your time so you can hear Justice Fitzgerald.

“GISD Mock Legislative”
We are looking for volunteers! Garland Noon Exchange Club will host, once again, (courtesy of Whataburger, member Andy McKenny, and Garland Noon Exchange Club) the third annual GISD Mock Legislative "conference" lunch. Approximately 275 students between 7th –12th grade participate in this event, and it is an exciting day for those who take part. As most of you know young people of this age get hungry, and need to eat so they can get on with their "Legislate Programs". Well, in order to accomplish that we need some HELP!

Date: November 9, 2002
Time: 10:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. (approximately)
Place: Naaman Forest High School
Duties: Help set up cooking equipment. Help cook hamburgers, and help serve food to students. Cooking will take place outside the south entrance, and food will be served in the cafeteria. The final need will be help to clean up after lunch.
Bonus: The pleasure of watching these young, future legislators sharpen their skills. A delicious home cooked hamburger, and a coke. Hopefully, some chips and dessert if Shirley can round them up.) Last, but certainly not least, the satisfaction of performing another service project in the name of Garland Noon Exchange Club.

Call Shirley McGuire at # 972-495-5490, or sign up at a future Club meeting.

“Our Deepest Sympathies”
Rosie Neely's husband, Ron, passed away recently. Ron had battled cancer for a long time. Let's keep Rosie in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. If any of you want to send a card, Rosie's address is: 905 Terry St., Pulaski, TN 38478.

For those of you who don't know Rosie, she is a former member of our club and retired from the Garland News about 3 years ago.

Exchange National Day of Service
October 26th - Our project this year is manning a booth at the “Scare on the Square.” We will be fingerprinting the kids and talking about our Exchange Club and the organizations we help support. We will need lots of volunteers to help man the booth between 3:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. We also need candy for this event. Please bring a bag of candy or two to donate at the next Wednesday meeting.
Please contact Kaye Schaum to volunteer for this great event..

MEMBERSHIP; MEMBERSHIP; MEMBERSHIP
Our new membership slogan is “Each One, Bring One, For Fun!”
As everyone is aware, it is impossible to do all of the wonderful things Garland Noon Exchange does for our community without the involvement of members. If you know of any fellow clients, friends or associates that would enjoy serving the community and enjoy great fellowship with great people, please introduce them to our club.

Please remember to bring a guest and introduce your friends to the best club in Garland.

“Just For The Fun Of It !!”
