“Congratulations Don!”
“Texas District Exchangite of the
Year”
Don Almquist was honored by being
named “Texas District Exchangite of the Year. We are
so proud to have Don as our club member and appreciate
all the hard work given to Exchange. Don joined the
Exchange Club of Rowlett in 1994. He has served as
Club President, District President and was recognized
by National Exchange as Outstanding District President
and Star District President. Don has been a Club
Builder of five new clubs in the district and has
recruited over 80 members to Exchange. Thanks for all
you do.
HOW PROUD ARE WE?
Words don’t even come close… In case
you have not realized it yet, we are the home club of
the National President elect, Jerry DeFeo and the
Texas District President elect, Celia Conrad. Noon
Exchange Club of Garland will carry bragging rites for
several years and are thrilled to be members of such
an elite organization with premier club members. Way
to go guys… You make us so proud.

Okay hombre… It’s time to bring in those raffle
ticket sales, auction items and sponsorships. We are
heading for the final round-up!!!!!

Special Thoughts and
Prayers
John and Joe Driver's mother, Elizabeth Driver, passed
away September 21st after a stroke. Let's keep John
and Joe’s family in our thoughts and prayers during
this difficult time.

SERVICE PROJECT
Guests at Boots ‘N Bar-B-Q asked to bring a
pair of new children’s shoes to the event.

to raise money for the Noon Exchange Club of Garland
